West Ham United have had a busy summer, splashing the cash on high-acclaimed players such as Andrei Yarmoloneko and Felipe Anderson. They have also brought in Jack Wilshire from Arsenal. There has been a change in management as well, with David Mayes being replaced by the much more high-profile Manuel Pellegrino, a former Premier League winner with Manchester City.

The move to the London Stadium has certainly boosted revenues for the West Ham, as Chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan look to guide them up towards the European places in the table. They open their season away from their home against one of the favorites for the title, Liverpool. This match could give us a few indications on how well the new signings and manager will settle in in East London.

We now take a look at how fans can buy West Ham United football tickets ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Membership and ticket prices

The official club membership, called the Claret Membership, is priced at £40 for adults and £20 for kids. This gives supporters a whole host of benefits including priority access to home match tickets in both the Premier League and the Cups, a £5 discount on home match tickets, discounts on the club’s official merchandise and access to exclusive competitions.

Home match tickets at the London ground are priced based on the profile of the fixtures. These are divided into three categories – Category A, B and C. Games in Category A are uniformly priced across all age groups between £50 and £80, while games in Category B and C range from £30-£60 and £25-£40, respectively. Tickets in the latter two categories are available at half the prices for fans above the age of 65 and under the age of 21, in all stands except “The 1966”.

Season tickets

Season tickets have generated a lot of extra revenue for West Ham United since their move to the new stadium. In comparison, season tickets at the Boleyn Ground (The Clarets’ previous base) was priced between £480 and £850 in the 2013/14 season. For the 2018/19 campaign, seasonal West Ham United football tickets range from £320 to £1,155.

Other than guaranteed access to all 19 Premier League home games, a season ticket also gives fans priority access to away football match tickets, and a 10% discount on the official replica kit and training range by Umbra. According to the club’s website, an adult saves an average of £400 and a junior fan an average of £600, by buying a season ticket in comparison to home tickets for all matches.
